1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the AstroShrine application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
AstroShrine is an astrology consultation platform that connects users with professional astrologers via chat, audio/video calls, and livestreams. The App also provides AI-powered Vedic astrology readings. AstroShrine is a marketplace connecting users with independent astrologers; we are not an astrology practice and do not provide astrological advice directly.
3. Account Registration
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- One person may maintain only one account
4. Wallet, Payments, and Refunds
Wallet system
- AstroShrine uses a points-based wallet system (1 point = 1 INR)
- Points are purchased via Razorpay payment gateway using real currency
- All recharges include applicable GST (currently 18%)
Pricing
- Chat sessions: Flat session rate with a defined number of questions (set per astrologer)
- Audio/Video calls: Per-minute rate (set per astrologer)
- AI readings: Free daily questions available; additional questions require points or AI packs

Promo codes
- Subject to terms specified per promotion (minimum recharge, expiry, usage limits)
- Cannot be combined unless explicitly stated
- AstroShrine reserves the right to void promo codes used in violation of their terms
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm astrologers or other users
- Provide false information during registration or profile setup
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or backend systems
- Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the App
- Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content in chats or livestreams
- Circumvent the payment system or attempt to obtain services without payment
6. Astrologer Services Disclaimer
- Professional medical advice (consult a licensed physician)
- Legal advice (consult a licensed attorney)
- Financial or investment advice (consult a licensed financial advisor)
- Psychological or mental health treatment (consult a licensed therapist)
AstroShrine and its astrologers do not guarantee the accuracy of any astrological reading, prediction, or guidance. Users acknowledge that astrology is a belief-based system and results may vary.
7. Intellectual Property
- The AstroShrine name, logo, and branding are our intellectual property
- Content provided by astrologers during sessions is their intellectual property
- AI-generated readings are provided for personal use only and may not be reproduced commercially
- You retain ownership of content you create (messages, profile data) but grant us a license to use it for providing the service
8. Limitation of Liability
AstroShrine is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to decisions made based on astrological readings, service interruptions, data loss, or unauthorized account access. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- You are reported for harassment or abuse
- Your account is inactive for an extended period
- Required by law
Upon termination, unused wallet points may be forfeited if termination is due to a violation of these Terms.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Your City], India.
