AstroShrine Compass app · Last updated: October 3, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the AstroShrine Compass Android app (package com.astroshrine.compass, the "App") handles information. The App is published by AstroShrine Private Limited, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India ("AstroShrine", "we"). It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and Google Play's User Data policy.

2. In short

3. What the App uses, and why

4. Permissions

You can withdraw any permission at any time in Android Settings → Apps → AstroShrine Compass → Permissions.

5. Sharing

The App shares nothing by itself. When you tap Share (a reading, a plan-check result) or save a MahaVastu PDF report, Android's share or print sheet opens and the text or file goes only to the app or printer you choose. How that app treats it is governed by its own policy.

6. Storage and Deletion

Saved readings and settings are kept in the App's private storage on your phone. MahaVastu projects are kept in the App's private web storage on your phone. Plan images picked for a check are temporary copies in the App's cache.

To delete: remove a reading in History, delete a project inside the MahaVastu Analyser, or clear everything with Android Settings → Apps → AstroShrine Compass → Storage → Clear data, or by uninstalling the App. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

The App turns off Android's automatic backup, so its data is not copied to your Google account.

7. Children's Privacy

The App collects no personal data from anyone, including children. It is intended for general audiences; we recommend that children use the Vastu features with a parent or guardian.

8. Vastu guidance

Directions, zones, verdicts and remedies shown by the App are traditional Vastu guidance, not engineering, legal, medical or financial advice. Accuracy depends on your phone's sensors, calibration and nearby metal or electronics. Do not make structural changes without a qualified professional.

9. Changes to This Policy

If the App ever starts to collect data (for example an online feature), we will update this Policy before that version is released and change the "Last updated" date above.
