These Terms govern the AstroShrine Kundli app ("App"), operated by AstroShrine Private Limited, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The main AstroShrine app has its own Terms of Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
AstroShrine Kundli provides the daily Hindu panchang (tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, sunrise and sunset, Rahu kaal, choghadiya, hora), festivals and vrats, muhurat timings, a birth chart (kundli) and kundli matching (guna milan), calculated for the location you choose. The App is free and shows no advertisements. Astrologer consultations, puja bookings and gemstones are not sold in the App; links to them open the main AstroShrine app, where its own Terms apply.
3. Account Registration
- An account is required to use the App; you register with your mobile number, verified by a one-time password (OTP)
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account; a child's kundli is entered by a parent or guardian
- You must provide accurate information in your profile
- You are responsible for the security of your account — never share an OTP with anyone
- You may delete your account any time from Settings → My account → "Delete Panchang data"
4. Calculations and Conventions
Calculations use Swiss Ephemeris-based astronomy and classical rules. The conventions used (Lahiri/Chitrapaksha ayanamsa by default, sunrise convention, amanta or purnimanta months, regional festival variants) are shown in Settings. Different almanacs follow different conventions, so timings may differ by a few minutes — or, rarely, a festival by a day — from other panchangs.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Enter another person's details without their consent, or false information to harm anyone
- Overload, probe or scrape our servers, or access them other than through the App
- Copy, reverse-engineer, decompile or redistribute the App or its data
- Interfere with another user's account or with the operation of the App
6. Astrology Disclaimer

AstroShrine does not guarantee the accuracy of any reading, prediction or muhurat. Astrology is a belief-based system and results may vary. Decisions about marriage, business, travel or health are yours alone — consult an experienced astrologer before acting.
7. Intellectual Property
- The AstroShrine name, logo, App design, text and festival database are our intellectual property
- Planetary calculations use the Swiss Ephemeris (© Astrodienst AG); the place list is derived from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0) and online place search uses © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL)
- You retain ownership of the kundli details you enter but grant us a licence to store, sync and process them to provide the service
8. Limitation of Liability
AstroShrine Kundli is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including decisions made based on panchang, muhurat or kundli results, errors in calculations, service interruptions or data loss. As the App is free, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed INR 1,000.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You misuse the service or engage in fraudulent activity
- Required by law
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be shown in the App for a fresh acceptance. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
